Our holiday of festivals began with Festival Interceltique in Lorient, France.
Festival Interceltique is THE international gathering of Celts. Like other arts festivals, it features master classes, musical competitions, a film festival, a range of exhibitions, lots of stalls selling trinkets and gustatory delights, and many musical performances. The exhibition of Euro Celtic Art was held at Lorient's Palais des Congrès.
	Just in case you don't have your program with you, these large posters with the day's events are placed throughout the town each day. This year was the 29th annual festival, with some 450,000 people attending over the 10 days of the festival.
