The Art Institute is one of my favorite places in Chicago -- the one place I don't miss visiting whenever I'm there.

I didn't take pictures inside. I could have -- personal non-flash photography is allowed of works from the permanent collection, which is most of what's exhibited. But, it's just not the same as seeing it yourself, and the museum's web site has better photos of works than I could take.
